Unlocked! A Guide to Interview and Job Opportunities

The seminar that starts about 2:00 p.m. in the morning through zoom meeting the program begins with webinar etiquette, opening prayer and opening remarks by the organizers. After the opening remarks Mr. Mario Roque Guanlao was introduce as guest speaker in his topic Unlocked! A Guide to Interview and Job Opportunities.

Mr. Guanlao introduces what is an interview, an opportunity to sell your abilities, interests and career objectives, an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the position and career offered by a particular company. He then discusses why there is an interview with the following questions first can you do the job, will you do the job, and how will you fit into the organization. Next is known what they are looking for because they are evaluating your communication skills throughout the interview, don’t focus on your history, focus on your skills, interviewer want organized, brief answers. After of his further discussions he then include what are the top 10 interview questions and lastly the closing interviews.

The next speaker was Mr. Armani Miguel Narca he said that it is not about what you know but who you know, one way to have a better fighting chance on having good opportunity is through joining organizations outside school. He then discusses the breaking barriers I the interviews like step out of comfort zone, never be afraid to be in a new environment, never stop learning new skills, never say die. The webinar ends at 4pm in the afternoon.
